View Policy News: Helps proactively manage future policy changes.
There are several important areas: Effective Date Timeline, Recent Policy News, and on the right-hand rail, a filter for each section.
Filter Timeline: Displays future policies effective in One Month, Six Months, or One Year on the Effective Date Timeline.
- Clearing the filter will prompt the timeline to show policies looking back two calendar years.
Effective Date Timeline: Shows future policy changes. Hovering over each date will provide the name of the policy change while clicking on the date will provide full details.
- Use the filter shown above to narrow down the information displayed.
Filter News: Allows you to select a specific jurisdiction and/or to review only policies that require an update in the handbook.
- Clearing the filter will prompt the Policy News section to display three calendar years of policy news.
Recent Policy News: Provides a list of developments, with most recent at the top.
- A red triangle icon will appear to reflect policies that require a change in the handbook, along with a calendar icon for policies with a known effective date allowing a reminder to be added to your calendar.
- Clicking on the blue hyperlink will display full details of upcoming changes and provides sample policy language for your handbook when changes are required.
In addition to this tool, a bi-weekly email is sent to clients providing summaries of the upcoming changes.
