      Navigator OT: Cost Estimator

      The Cost Estimator is a solution to quickly assess if an employee meets the FEDERAL minimum threshold salary requirements and your company’s estimated cost if the salary does not comply.

      The estimator calculates the potential alternative estimated costs if your company decides to:

      1. Reclassify the employee as non-exempt and overtime

        OR
      2.  Reclassify the employee as non-exempt and reset the hourly rate to minimize additional labor costs.

      Start by entering the EMPLOYEE DETAILS - Annual Salary:

      Expected Overtime (if any):

      Incentive Compensation (if any):

      Once complete, bringing you to the Final Report, which can quickly gives you up to three solutions to consider in classifying the employee.

      Depending on your selections, the Final Report might only display two solutions for consideration.
